A Somatic Evening Journey

Cultivating sensory awareness in movement and touch, as well as embodying this knowledge of the human body, empowers one to practise self-care effectively, and to also share this knowledge with others in meaningful ways.

 

Join Daphne Chua, Yoga and somatic therapist, movement educator, and trauma rehabilitation bodyworker, in this upcoming somatic exploration evening. Through a combination of gentle movement, visualisation, breath, dialoguing and meditation, we will journey into the relationship with our body and consciousness.

What to expect:

  • Cultivating a nuanced sense of nervous system awareness through movement and breath
  • Exploring an ongoing, moment-to-moment exploration of balance, stability and mobility
  • Bringing clarity to our body-mind’s relationship with gravity and levity: yielding / propping / collapse

  • Reclaiming the wholeness of our body-mind relationship through deconstructing our habitual holding patterns
