Introductory Workshop to Somatic Yoga & Nervous System Resilience

Introductory Workshop to Somatic Yoga & Nervous System Resilience

Join us for an enriching exploration of the body-mind connection in this immersive workshop that blends principles of Yoga Therapy, Body-Mind Centering (BMC), and the Polyvagal framework into therapeutic embodiment practices. This unique experience will guide us toward greater self-awareness, nervous system regulation, and easeful movement.

This workshop invites you to attune to your body’s innate wisdom and deepen our connection to both physiological and emotional well-being. Through movement, hands-on work, and play, we will gently release habitual tension, and develop resilience through a mindful, somatic yoga practice.

Understanding the Body Systems:
Explore how the developmental, skeletal, muscular, fluids, and organ systems influence movement, posture, and perception, and learn how they play a part in our daily lives.

Polyvagal framework: Gain insights into how the Polyvagal theory shapes our nervous system. Learn how we can track. the different states to create capacity and emotional resilience.

Self-Regulation Practices: Develop tools for balancing activation and relaxation through sensory led somatic practices and embodied anatomy.

Movement & Awareness: Engage in practices that enhance kinesthetic awareness, improve interoception (inner body awareness), and promote vagal tone to promote homeostasis. Connection and Presence: Embark on a journey to experience a state of presence and well-being that will offer restoration and connection.

Whether you're a yoga practitioner, movement educator, bodyworker, or simply someone seeking to deepen your understanding of embodiment, this workshop offers valuable tools for nurturing nervous system resilience. Join us in this exploration of safety, connection, and fluid movement as we bridge yogic wisdom with modern neuroscience!
